Trash Cams allows custodians to perform their trash monitoring electronically. Weve developed IoT cameras that can be mounted to trash can lids or walls above trash cans. These cameras upload images on a set schedule to a custom visual classifier (VC) model that is hosted on AWS. The VC classifies an image as full or empty and triggers a notification if full. The app allows custodians to handle notifications and visually verify that the trash can is full. This solution allows custodians to optimize their time and keep their facilities clean.
